The Apollo 1.5m High x 3.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Single Leaf Gate Kit provides a secure and practical solution for areas that require a wider pedestrian access point without compromising on strength or safety. Designed to match seamlessly with mesh fencing systems such as 868 twin wire, V mesh, and Safe Top mesh, this gate is ideal for a wide range of low to medium security environments.
Built using the durable 868 mesh configuration, the gate features strong 6mm vertical wires crossed with twin 8mm horizontal wires. This creates a rigid and anti-climb mesh structure that is very difficult to cut through, making it a reliable choice for keeping unauthorised visitors out. The mesh design also allows for high visibility, helping to maintain surveillance and safety around the access point.
The frame is reinforced with mitred corners to provide added strength and structural integrity, particularly important for a gate of this size. At 3.0m wide, the gate offers generous access for larger pedestrian groups, push trolleys, or site equipment. Whether in a school playground or a sports ground, this gate can handle frequent use while maintaining a professional appearance.
Manufactured from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 standards and finished with a polyester powder coating to BS 13438, the Apollo gate is built to withstand the elements. The powder coating gives the gate a smooth, protective finish and is available in a selection of RAL colours to match your fencing or site branding. This dual coating system helps prevent rust and wear, extending the gate's lifespan and reducing maintenance needs.
The gate is available with either bolt down or dig in posts, offering installation flexibility based on ground conditions. You can also choose the gate’s handing at the time of installation, as it can be hung to open either to the left or right. A modular sliding latch comes as standard and can be secured with a padlock. For sites needing higher security or controlled access, the gate is compatible with a range of lock upgrades including digital keypad locks or quick-exit digital locks.
Everything required to install the gate is included in the kit, hinge and catch posts, gate leaf, sliding latch, drop bolt, adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed plastic inserts. The only extras you’ll need are post mix (for dig in) or ground anchor bolts (for bolt down), which are sold separately.
