Product Description

Yellow Fence Ballast Block: 50kg - Available for Hire

Our Yellow Fence Ballast Block is now available for hire, providing a practical and cost-effective solution for securing temporary fencing and steel hoarding panels. Specially designed for use with thermoplastic feet, these heavy-duty blocks are ideal for short-term projects where strong, stable fencing is essential. Made from reinforced concrete, each ballast block weighs 50 kg, offering the weight needed to keep your fencing secure, even in adverse weather conditions.

The ballast block measures 260mm in height, 440mm in length, and 290mm in width. Finished in a vibrant yellow colour, the block not only adds extra visibility to your fencing setup for safety purposes but also ensures your site remains compliant with health and safety regulations. The robust concrete material guarantees long-term durability, making these blocks a cost-effective solution for multiple temporary fencing projects over time. Their durable concrete construction ensures they can withstand the demands of busy construction sites, outdoor events, and other temporary setups.

When hired for use with thermoplastic feet, the Yellow Fence Ballast Block dramatically increases the stability of temporary fencing systems. This added strength is crucial for preventing panels from being dislodged or blown over during poor weather. For the best results, we recommend using two ballast blocks per thermoplastic foot, one positioned in front and one behind each fencing panel. Where extra stability is required, blocks can be stacked to increase the overall weight. For even greater support, stabilising bars can also be hired to work alongside the ballast blocks, giving your fencing additional resistance against high winds and heavy impacts.
