The Vehicle Gate for Temporary Fencing provides a safe and secure 4 metre wide point of access to a temporary fencing perimeter for all vehicles. These gates provide a cost-effective solution, made from galvanised steel and with a robust construction which allows them to be reused again and again.
What is a Vehicle Gate for Temporary Fencing?
Our Vehicle Gates have been created to provide a safe point of access for vehicles entering or leaving a site that has been secured with temporary fencing panels, such as a construction site or short-term event.
The gates are supplied in a double leaf style, which comprises of two gates, each 2.0m wide, giving a total access width of 4.0m. This large gap allows for either two lines of traffic to enter or exit or allow entry for larger vehicles such as trucks or construction vehicles.
Each of the gate leaves is fitted with caster wheels which allow the gates to be opened and closed easily and smoothly on a range of ground surfaces
How easy are the Vehicle Gates for Temporary Fencing to install?
The Vehicle gate for temporary fencing is incredibly easy to install into a temporary fencing line or perimeter. Much like the standard or round top temporary fencing panels, these gates are connected to panels with the use of couplers (it is recommended to use 2 couplers per gate leaf) and held upright with thermoplastic feet.
What are the benefits of a Vehicle Gate for Temporary Fencing?
There are many benefits to installing a vehicle gate into a temporary fencing perimeter. The first of which is creating a point of entry for vehicles which can be secured when not in use. Each Gate comes with a sliding latch which can be used to secure the gate and can be locked with the use of a padlock (can be purchased separately)
When used in conjunction with a pedestrian gate, these vehicle gates can help to reduce the risk of accident or injury due to collisions with pedestrians
