1.5m High EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Round Railing Kits provide a secure and visually appealing form of perimeter demarcation. These railing systems have been designed in such a way as to reduce the amount of welding required. Constructed from steel to our highest standards to ensure that these railings are strong, robust and will last for many years to come. Each kit comes with a panel, post, and fixings to attach the panel to the post, allowing for quick and easy installation.
Whilst the 1.5m EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railings may look very similar to standard vertical bar railings, the major difference is with how these more environmentally friendly alternatives is with their construction.
Standard railing systems may rely heavily on the use of welding in order to create the joins between individual components that make up a bay, which can be a very energy and resource intensive process. To reduce these high energy and resource intensive processes, the EnviroRail® systems are constructed using revolutionary reduced weld joins, which greatly reduces the amount of welding required to complete each railing bay.
This weld free joining process comprises of a series of bespoke formed and laser cut components. These components have been designed in such a way was to connect, and when pressed together they create incredibly strong bonds which provide these railings with an incredibly high level of strength and stability.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of pre-galvanised steel hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing kits are available with either dig in or bolt down posts, allowing for installation on both hard and soft ground types.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts have been created to allow the railing kits to be installed on soft ground types where holes can be easily dug. This type of post is longer than the actual height of the railings so that a portion of the post can be placed into the hole and held firmly and securely in place with the use of post mix.
Bolt down posts – Bolt down posts are designed to be used on harder ground surfaces such as locations where the ground has been surfaced with concrete. These posts come with a base plate pre-attached allowing for them to be attached securely to the ground with the use of ground anchor bolts.
Each of the 1.5m High EnviroRail® Vertical Bar railing kits come with the following items:
As each of the kits is supplied with one post, an additional end post kit may be required to complete your railing system.
The 1.5m High EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing Kits are available with a high quality smooth finish Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These coatings are available in a range of RAL colours, allowing you to match the existing colours of your organisation or to create a bright, colourful and visible perimeter system. The PPC coatings play an additional role in providing a layer of protection against the detrimental effects of rust formation and corrosion.
In the unfortunate event of the Polyester Powder Coatings becoming damaged, either through acts of vandalism or accidental damage, touch up spray cans can be used. These easy to use spray cans are available in a variety of RAL colours and quickly enable your coatings to be restored and your railing system looking great again.
Step One: Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the desired location for the new cleat; this is dictated by the gradient.
Step Two: Open the hole to a 12mm hole size to take the M10 bolts (as listed in the step below).
Step Three: Touch up and spray the hole, if required.
Step Four: Attach the cleat using the M10 x 70mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (for 0.9m to 1.2m height system) or M10 x 80mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (1.5m to 2.4m height systems).
Step Five: Attach the railing panel as per standard installation guidance.
Note: Please ensure the spacing relationships are followed according to the existing hole centres on the posts.
