Product Description

1.8m High EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Round Railing Kit

A cost effective and environmentally friendly solution to creating strong and robust perimeters and boundaries in either public or private outdoor locations. The 1.8m High EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Round Railing Kits have been made to our highest standards from high quality steel and will look great for years to come. To allow for quick and easy installation, each of the kits comes with a panel, post (either dig in or bolt down) and the fixings required to attach the panel to the post.

In appearance, the 1.8m High EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Round Railing kits may look like a standard railing kit, the biggest difference lies in how these EnviroRail® railing kits are constructed. Where standard railing kits tend to rely on manufacturing processes which use a lot of welding in order to attach the individual components to one another, the EnviroRail® railing bays use a reduced weld construction, reducing the amount of energy intensive welding required.

This revolutionary reduced weld construction process uses a series of custom made and laser cut components which, when pressed together, form an incredibly strong and secure bond. This process reduces the amount of energy and resources required to create a single bay and while some welding is still required to complete each railing panel, it is significantly less than standard vertical bar railings.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of pre-galvanised steel hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

To allow for installation in as many locations as possible, these EnviroRail® railing kits are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.

Dig in posts – The Dig in posts are designed to allow for installation of these railings on softer ground types where it is easy for holes to be dug. The dig in posts are longer than the actual height of the railings which allows for a section of the post to be placed into the hole, where it is then secured in place with the use of post mix

Bolt down posts – This type of post have been made to allow for installation on a harder types of ground surfaces where it may not be possible for holes to be dug. The bolt down posts are supplied with a base plate pre-attached which allows for them to be secured in place with the use of ground anchor bolts

Each kit of 1.8m High EnvioRail® Vertical Bar Railings include:

  • 1 x EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Railing Panel
  • 1 x EnviroRail® Railing Post
  • 4 x Twist Cleats
  • 2 x M10 x 80mm Bolts
  • 2 x M10 Shear Nuts
  • 2 x Support Legs
  • 1 x Ribbed Post Insert

Each kit is supplied with one post, so an additional end post will be required to complete each straight line run of railings.

Benefits and features

  • Reduced weld construction – This environmentally friendly process reduces the amount of energy and resource intensive welding required.

Customise your EnviroRail® Railing Kits

The 1.8m High EnviroRail® Standard Vertical Bar Round Railing Kits are supplied with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These coatings give the railings a high quality smooth finish and are available in a wide range of RAL colours, allowing for the creation of aesthetically pleasing perimeter systems, which can be bright and colourful or matched to your organisations existing colour schemes. As well as adding some colour to your railing system, these coatings also provide an additional function of creating a protective barrier which helps to protect the steel against the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation.

Should the Polyester Powder Coatings become damaged in any way, either through accidental damage or through acts of intentional damage such as vandalism, it is possible to restore these coatings with the use of a touch up spray can. These are available in a range of RAL colours are quick and easy to use, allowing you to restore the visual appeal and protective coatings of your railings incredibly quickly.

How to step your panel

Step One: Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the desired location for the new cleat; this is dictated by the gradient.

Step Two: Open the hole to a 12mm hole size to take the M10 bolts (as listed in the step below).

Step Three: Touch up and spray the hole, if required.

Step Four: Attach the cleat using the M10 x 70mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (for 0.9m to 1.2m height system) or M10 x 80mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (1.5m to 2.4m height systems).

Step Five: Attach the railing panel as per standard installation guidance.

Note: Please ensure the spacing relationships are followed according to the existing hole centres on the posts.
