Every EnviroRail® Play Sec Gate Kit is made from pre-galvanised steel that adheres to BS 10346 standards, and it is coated with polyester powder, ensuring robustness and resistance to challenging outdoor conditions. This dual-layer protection not only ensures dependable functionality but also maintains its aesthetic allure over an extended period.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The EnviroRail® gate series provides complete modularity and a lightweight system, facilitating quick installation and accommodating a variety of gate hardware components. Universally configured, these gates offer on-site flexibility without requiring specific right or left-hand specifications, streamlining the decision-making process during installation. This modular capability allows for straightforward adjustments, offering adaptability that fixed hardware cannot provide.
The kit for the single leaf gate comprises a hinge and catch post, a Play Sec Railing leaf, and three adjustable gate eyes. Compliance with BS 12604 standards is guaranteed by three hinges, ensuring safety even in the unlikely scenario of one hinge failing. The gate hooks, fully welded to the gate post, establish a fixed-axis hinge, eradicating any potential vertical movement. The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
Pre-drilled holes make it straightforward to attach gate eyes and a drop bolt, with plastic plugs included to cover unused holes on the gate attack face. Compatible with security locks, the gate allows for up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, ensuring ease of installation.
Safety Compliance
Rails are set at 100mm centres to prevent entrapment, and top bows are 90mm to prevent wrist or neck traps. The design and manufacture of the EnviroRail® Play Sec Railing Gate comply with BS EN 1176 regulations.
The gate offers 50mm ground clearance when correctly installed, opening 90° in and out as a single leaf gate.
Available in various heights and widths, these gates come in dig-in or bolt-down versions, suitable for diverse environments. For the dig-in variant, Post Mix needs to be added to the order, and the bolt-down version requires four M16 x 125mm ground anchor bolts per post.
