This bollard is available in two operational versions:
Fail Safe – the bollard automatically lowers during a power failure, allowing vehicles to pass. This configuration is ideal for public areas or locations requiring emergency access.
Fail Secure – the bollard remains raised in a power outage, maintaining maximum site protection. This option is best suited for high-security premises such as airports, government facilities, or corporate headquarters.

The Perseo control panel allows synchronised operation of up to four bollards, enabling seamless coordination for larger installations. If additional bollards are required, up to three more Pillar B 600 units can be easily added.
Installation must be carried out by a professional installer. A comprehensive risk assessment is essential to ensure all safety and electrical standards are met. Proper drainage — including a suitable soakaway — is vital to prevent flooding and maintain system reliability.
