90mm Diameter Black & Yellow Hooped Barrier with Bolt Down Installation
The 90mm Black & Yellow Hooped Barrier range from First Fence provides durable, high-visibility protection for warehouse interiors and outdoor loading areas. Designed to absorb impacts from forklifts and other warehouse vehicles, these barriers help shield racking, equipment, doorways and designated walkways.
Finished in bright yellow with contrasting black bands, the barriers deliver excellent visibility in busy working environments. This standout colour combination not only acts as a physical guard but also draws attention to access points, junctions and turning areas where collisions are more likely to occur.
Most sizes can also be supplied with an additional mid-rail. This optional feature offers increased safeguarding in places where items may sit below the upper rail, ensuring the barrier absorbs the force of any impact rather than the protected structure.

- Heavy-duty construction using 90mm Circular Hollow Section (CHS) mild steel
- Highly visible black and yellow finish
- Galvanised in accordance with ISO 1461
- Welded base plates designed for bolt-down fixing (fixings sold separately)
Available Options
- Heights: 500mm or 1000mm
- Lengths: 1000mm, 1500mm, or 2000mm
Please note that the horizontal rail is not available at a height of 500mm.
Installation Guidance
Before installing, confirm that the ground is free from obstructions and underground services. To fix the barrier in place, drill eight holes to match the flange plate layout, usually to a depth of around 100mm. On weaker or loose surfaces, use resin and threaded studs to improve anchoring strength. Once positioned, secure the barrier by tightening the nuts and washers above the flange plates.
