Product Description

60mm Diameter Galvanised Hooped Perimeter Barrier: Dig In or Bolt Down

Our 60mm hooped perimeter barriers offer a reliable and long-lasting way to mark boundaries and protect vulnerable areas. Designed to be both sturdy and low-profile, they stop vehicles from accessing restricted zones such as verges, banks, and the edges of car parks. They also serve as tidy boundary markers for spaces like trolley collection points, building entrances, and vehicle display areas, without disrupting visibility.

Key Benefits

  • Manufactured from durable mild steel
  • Galvanised to ISO 1461 for excellent rust resistance
  • Optional welded base plates for bolt-down fitting (fixings sold separately)

Available Specifications

  • Heights: 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm
  • Lengths: 750mm, 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm

Installation Choices

Bolt-Down

  1. Mark and drill the required number of holes to suit the base plates (typically around 100mm deep).
  2. On loose or uneven ground, studding and resin can be used to improve anchorage.
  3. Position the barrier and tighten the washers and nuts over the flange plates to secure it in place.

Dig-In

  1. Check the area for pipework or cables before digging.
  2. Excavate two holes roughly 300mm deep and slightly wider than the barrier’s diameter.
  3. Place the legs 300mm into the ground, ensuring they are straight and level, then fill with concrete to set.

Where to Use These Barriers

Their versatile sizing and protective finish make them suitable for:

  • Warehousing and industrial sites
  • Outdoor vehicle sales areas
  • Car parks
  • Entrances to commercial premises
  • Trolley storage zones
