Product Description

48mm Diameter Black & Yellow Hooped Barrier with Bolt Down Installation

First Fence’s range of Black & Yellow Hooped Barriers is essential for any internal or external warehousing environment, where racking, gondolas, storage cages and doorways are prone to damage from forklifts.

Painted yellow with black bands, the Black & Yellow Hooped Barriers provide clear visibility, not only protecting equipment but also highlighting potential junctions and turns in and out of the warehouse.

Where potential protrusions under the top rail of the barrier may occur, an optional mid rail is available on most sizes, ensuring the barriers take the full force of impact rather than racking and similar.

Key Features

  • Manufactured from strong 48mm Circular Hollow Section (CHS) mild steel
  • Clearly visible black & yellow colour scheme
  • Galvanised to ISO 1461
  • Welded flange plates for bolt-down applications (fixings supplied separately)

Product Options

  • Height: 500mm or 1000mm
  • Length: 1000mm, 1500mm, or 2000mm

Please note that the horizontal rail is not available at a height of 500mm.

Installation

Always ensure the ground is clear of obstacles and utilities before excavation. To install the Black & Yellow Hooped Barriers, simply drill eight holes which align with the spacings on the weld-on flange plates, drilling to the depth of the ground anchor or stud (typically 100mm). Ensure that studding and resin are used on loose surfaces to increase stability. Once installed, tighten the washers and nuts above the flange plates to secure them in position.

Let us do the installation for you, with our team of experts who can offer a site survey and full installation. For more information and a quote, please email your questions and requirements to installation@firstfence.co.uk.
