For sites that demand extra-large access, the AcoustiGuard® SR1 Double Leaf Gate Kit (1.8m x 6.0m) delivers maximum width without sacrificing security or noise control. With a huge 6.0m clear opening, this system is purpose-built for articulated trucks, heavy plant, and oversized vehicles. At 1.8m high, it provides a strong physical barrier while maintaining efficient vehicle flow. Supplied fully assembled, the gate can be craned directly into place for rapid installation. It’s a trusted solution for industrial estates, distribution centres, and infrastructure projects where certified protection and acoustic screening must work seamlessly together.
Security is independently verified with LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) approval, awarded by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). To achieve this rating, the gate must endure a physical attack lasting at least one minute using a defined set of everyday tools, such as screwdrivers, spanners, or small cutters. This level of resistance demonstrates the product’s ability to deter opportunistic attempts at intrusion, giving site operators confidence that their perimeter is reinforced with a recognised, certified standard.
In addition to security, this gate meets the acoustic and structural requirements set out in BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2. The timber-clad face, manufactured from UC4 treated softwood, helps to absorb and disrupt sound waves, making it effective for reducing both outgoing and incoming noise, particularly valuable for sites located close to residential or noise-sensitive areas. Structurally, the design complies with BS EN 1794-2, ensuring it can safely withstand environmental stresses such as wind loading. Reinforced with a galvanised steel framework and heavy-duty posts, the system is built for long-term strength and durability.
