PAR Softwood Field Gate Details
Each PAR Softwood Field Gate is constructed using smooth-planed softwood, offering both a polished aesthetic and a durable build. The timber is pressure-treated to UC4 standards to ensure long-lasting protection against weather exposure, rot, and insects.
The gate features strong horizontal rails and vertical stiles, all joined with mortise and tenon joints for superior structural stability. A reinforced bottom rail enhances rigidity, particularly for wider gates. The planed finish makes this style ideal for visible access points or areas where a more refined look is desired.
These gates are compatible with our pressure treated timber posts and are not suitable for use with metal posts. Other materials, such as brick walls, are also compatible. Each gate can be hung from either side, depending on site requirements.
