The Apollo 1.5m High x 9.0m Wide 868 Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate Kit is engineered to provide a strong, stable, and highly secure solution for wide access points across a range of low to medium security settings. Designed for use in schools, parks, leisure centres, light industrial estates, and public spaces, this extra-wide double gate allows easy access for large service vehicles, maintenance equipment, and groups of pedestrians while maintaining the strength and reliability that the Apollo range is known for.

This gate features the robust 868 twin mesh configuration, made with 6mm vertical wires and 8mm horizontal wires, offering excellent resistance to tampering, cutting, and deformation. The mesh design also promotes clear visibility, which is ideal in environments that require passive surveillance or safety monitoring.

The double leaf structure enhances strength and stability across the wide 9.0m span. Each gate leaf is universal, allowing for either left-hand or right-hand hanging, and includes mitred corners for added frame strength and a clean, modern finish.

Manufactured using pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 and finished with a polyester powder coating to BS 13438, the Apollo 9.0m gate is built to perform in harsh outdoor conditions. The coating not only offers excellent corrosion protection but also adds visual appeal and is available in a range of PPC RAL colours, including custom options to suit your site.

The gate is available with your choice of bolt-down or dig-in posts, making it suitable for various ground types. Whether installed on concrete, grass, or other surfaces, the Apollo gate ensures a stable and long-lasting fit.

Security is a key feature, with a sliding latch that can be padlocked for basic access control. For higher security needs, the gate is compatible with digital security locks and quick-exit devices, making it suitable for sites with strict access requirements. Drop bolts are also included to secure the gate leaves when closed, ensuring additional stability.

With a Triple hinge design, these gates meet the standards set out by BS EN 12604 and the DHF recommendations set out to prevent gate leafs from falling in the unlikely event of a single hinge failure. 

The Apollo 1.5m x 9.0m gate integrates effortlessly into existing perimeter fencing and is fully compatible with V Mesh, 868 Twin Wire Mesh, 656 Twin Wire Mesh, and many other mesh fencing systems, offering exceptional versatility for retrofit or new installations.

Post mix and ground anchor bolts are not included and should be ordered separately. Additional Apollo fencing accessories are also available to support custom setups or system expansions.
