The gate’s open-rail layout combines robust horizontal rails and vertical stiles, precision-joined using mortise and tenon construction for strength and longevity. The planed finish provides a smooth, splinter-free surface, suitable for high-traffic or decorative entrances.
These gates are designed for installation with our timber gate posts and are not recommended for use with metal posts, however other materials can be suitable, such as brick walls. Periodic application of exterior wood oil will help retain the timber’s colour and sheen while preserving its natural resistance to the elements.
