Chain link fencing is a durable and versatile solution for securing residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. Made from high-quality galvanised steel, often with a PVC coating, its diamond-shaped mesh provides excellent visibility while ensuring strong security.
Ideal for gardens, playgrounds, sports facilities, warehouses, construction sites, and farms, it offers a cost-effective and low-maintenance boundary solution. Available in various heights and specifications, it is easy to install and can be customised with barbed wire or privacy screening for added security. Whether for perimeter protection or animal enclosures, chain link fencing delivers long-lasting durability and peace of mind.
End strainer posts play a crucial role in a chain link fencing system, ensuring structural integrity and maintaining fence tension long-term. The end strainer post kit from First Fence includes all the essential components for a secure and reliable installation: an end strainer post (hot-dip galvanised / PPC green or black options) with a 50mm RSA profile, 40 x 40mm struts tailored to the selected fence height, a 30 x 5mm chain link stretcher bar, support beam and cross beam three ferrule winders, and three M8 x 20mm BZP hex head bolts and nuts.
Designed for optimal strength and stability, these strainer posts provide firm support at the end of the fence line. Featuring three bolt-on ferrule winders, they ensure consistent tension throughout the fencing system for a secure and lasting installation. This post has a dig in base plate on the post end, this adds extra stability to the system.
Each post is hot-dip galvanised (HDG) to ISO 1461 standards, with a protective coating of at least 85µ, offering excellent resistance against rust and weathering damage. HDG treatment enhances durability, making these posts ideal for long-term outdoor use. Additionally, they are available powder-coated to BS EN 13438 in a green or black finish. This coating further improves resistance to rust and weather protection while providing a visually appealing and robust finish.
Anchor Points: They act as the main support points at the start and termination of a fence run.
Tension Maintenance: They take the tension of the chain link fencing, which prevents sagging.
Connection for Line Wires: They fix the tension wire lines that reinforce the fence.
