Gatemaster Double-Sided Digital Gate Lock
The Double-Sided Digital Gate Lock from Gatemaster is from the Superlock range and has such ease of installation; you simply drill three holes in your gate frame and bolt the lock on. The mechanical (digital) push-button keypad requires no power source making it an ideal choice when you want to add some extra security to a gate but don't want the hassle of getting an electrician involved!
It features a slim 70mm wide lock case and an adjustable and removable latchbolt that ensures easy fitting. It is recommended for 40-60mm gate frames.
The Double-Sided Digital Gate Lock is a very secure product, the latchbolt moves 15mm which ensures the bolt enters deep into the gatepost. The Bolt Support Plate has a brass bearing to ensure the lock will last. It is adjustable too, the latchbolt can be adjusted in length and set to left-hand or right-hand. It has an auto-latching feature; when you close the gate the latchbolt latches into the gate frame. To open the gate you simply enter the code and turn the handle, there is a keypad on both sides.
In terms of maintenance, every 6 months lubricate the latchbolt with a light oil, and annually dismantle the lock and spray the mechanism with light oil to keep it in good order.
The code for the keypad is changeable and it is advisable to do this if someone who has the code no longer has access for any reason.
