The hydraulic closer kit includes the Hydraulic Closer and Top Hinge, ensuring a strong, reliable, and safe gate closure. The built-in standard hinges prevent the gate from opening beyond 90°, protecting the system from potential damage.

Installation and Maintenance

Installation of the Hydraulic Gate Closer is quick and straightforward. The closer is mounted underneath the gate, keeping it unobstructed and protected within its own case. Additionally, it serves as a load-bearing lower hinge, adding extra strength to the gate structure. The top hinge is fully adjustable, allowing for precise gate positioning after installation. The latch speed can be adjusted separately from the overall closing speed, providing complete control over how the gate closes.
Once installed, the closer and bottom hinge require no maintenance. However, it is recommended to lubricate the top hinge with a suitable grease periodically to ensure smooth operation.

Closing Gas Strut

Fitting and Compatibility

The Closing Strut is designed for simple installation, with adjustable brackets that eliminate the need to compress the strut during fitting. It can be securely fixed to the gate using either welding or screw fixing, depending on the gate type and installation preference. Please note that fixings are not included with the screw-fixing welding gas strut.
Both the Hydraulic Gate Closer and the Closing Gas Strut are compatible with Palisade, Mesh, and Railing gates, whether newly installed or part of an existing setup. They can also be adjusted to accommodate pre-existing hinge placements.
