Timber Acoustic Fencing Kits

Timber Acoustic Fencing is a type of product designed to specifically provide sound insulation and reduce noise levels. Primarily made from wood and often used in residential, commercial or industrial settings where noise is a concern, such as near railways, roads and motorways or busy urban areas.

Choose your style

First Fence's range of Timber Acoustic Fencing is available in three styles, EchoGroove, EchoReflect and EchoAbsorb. These three distinct solutions have been tailored to address noise pollution, each with its unique approach. EchoGroove and EchoReflect primarily function by deflecting sound waves off their surfaces, effectively reducing the transmission of noise. EchoGroove features horizontal panels, while EchoReflect has vertical panels, offering variations in design aesthetics.

On the other hand, EchoAbsorb lives up to its name by absorbing sound, significantly reducing the volume of the noise. This important difference gives users choices to pick the best solution for their needs and preferences. Whether it's redirecting sound waves or absorbing them, these acoustic fencing solutions offer effective means to reduce noise pollution.

Manufactured from quality Tanalised, pressure treated timber from a reputable FSC certified UK sawmill. The timber is surface incised at the manufacturer's site and this is important for achieving the best preservative protection for ground contact timber.

Each style comes in a loose kit style that is easily assembled on site. A choice of a timber or steel post is available, please note, this is a dig in format only. Our timber acousric panels are av;aible in the following heights 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m, 2.5m, 2.7m, 3.0m, 3.5m, 4.0m, 4.2m and 5.0m.

These Timber Acoustic Fencing systems have been independently tested by Salford University to Highways England requirements - BS EN 1793 Road Traffic Noise Reducing Devices. Tested and compliant to BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2, they also comply with Highways Sector Scheme 2C for the prefabrication of environmental barriers.

Complement your space with our matching timber acoustic gates! We offer a standard width of 1.0m. Choose from three heights to suit your needs: 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.4m.For superior noise control, select from our EchoGroove, EchoReflect, or EchoAbsorb styles. EchoGroove boasts classic horizontal timber boards, while EchoReflect offers a contemporary look with vertical boards. EchoAbsorb provides the ultimate sound absorption with vertical sawn boards, featuring additional soundproofing elements like cover strips, protective membrane, and rockwool.

Long Service Life

The manufacturers states that these Timber Acoustic Fencing panels have a 30 year desired service life, and are designed to be maintenance free, when correctly installed. It is advisable to check with a structural engineer for wind loading and very tall fence heights for your specific location.

This range of Timber Acoustic Fencing not only looks good but provides an excellent solution for tackling excessive and unwanted noise pollution across a very diverse range of applications. They not only offer noise management, but add greater levels of privacy and are more attractive to look at than industrial-style security fencing designs.
