Types of Temporary Fencing Panels

Temporary metal fence panels are available in several different variants, each of which has been designed to meet specific needs. Our range of temp fencing panel types includes:

·         Standard Temporary Fencing Panels – This is one of the most common types of temporary fencing panel. These budget friendly panels have a square top design, offering a general purpose use, ideal for anything from event perimeters to temporary works.

·         Round Top Temporary Fencing Panels – This type of metal temporary fencing panel features a rounded outer frame which is made from a single bent galvanised steel tube, which increase the panels overall strength. The rounded design also reduces the risk of injury.

·         Round Top Temporary Fencing Panels with Centre Bar – These temporary metal fence panels feature the same single tube frame design as the round top panels, with an addition of a central bar for even greater strength. Ideal for sites that may be exposed to high winds or for temporary sites where increased security may be required.

·         Used Temporary Fencing Panels – These are second-hand panels offered at a reduced price. While they may show signs of cosmetic wear, they still provide excellent strength and durability, making them an economical option for budget-conscious projects.

SmartWeld 100 Advanced Technology

All our temp fencing panels are manufactured using the advanced SmartWeld 100 technology. This new welding method makes the panels stronger and more durable, so they can handle frequent use better. Unlike traditional methods that only weld at certain points, SmartWeld 100 ensures that every wire is securely welded to the outer frame. This prevents the mesh from sagging over time, maintaining a rigid and stable structure. The wires are tensioned as they are welded to the frame, which not only prevents sagging but also adds to the overall rigidity of the panel, making it less likely to deform under pressure.

Essential Components for safe installation

Due to the temporary nature of these fencing panels, it is important to use the right components to keep your perimeter stable and safe for staff and visitors. As they are not commonly bolted or secured into the ground with post mix, the following components should be used:

·         Temporary Fencing Feet – Designed specifically for use with temporary fencing panels, temporary fencing feet give the panels a stable base and support to hold them upright. There are different types of temporary fencing feet, depending on your requirements, thermoplastic feet, hi-vis feet and concrete feet are available

·         Couplers -  Couplers are used to securely connect the panels to one another, strengthening your perimeter. There are two different types of coupler available, standard couplers and anti-tamper. The anti-tamper coupler offers a higher level of security, preventing unauthorized disassembly of the site perimeter. To use these in the installation of the temporary fencing perimeter an anti-tamper coupler spanner is required

·         Temporary fencing accessories – Additional accessories can be added to a temporary fencing perimeter to help increase stability with the use of ground stabiliser kits, increase privacy and prevent debris from leaving the site with debris netting as well as a range of other benefits.
