Introducing the Corner Strainer Post Kit from First Fence

An important element in chain link fencing systems, corner strainer posts are designed for areas where a fence line changes direction.  These corner posts are engineered to withstand the tension exerted on the fence at turning points, ensuring structural integrity and overall stability.

Made from hot-dip galvanised steel (to ISO 1461) and also available with a powder-coated finish (to BS EN 13438) in green and black, this post has significant resistance to rust and weathering, making it ideal for outdoor applications.  It is 1800mm in total length and is for the 1.2m system, this is a dig-in format and requires post mix. 

It is made from 50 x 50mm rolled steel angle and is heavier duty than the intermediate post as it must withstand additional strain from the change in direction.  When set deep into the ground and secured with post mix, the post can fully handle the tension applied at the corner.  This post comes with 40 x 40mm RSA struts to suit the 1.2m high system.  The post has base plates which are buried into the ground and requires post mix.

Function of Corner Strainer Posts

Corner strainer posts are vital to the stability and structure of chain link fencing, especially where the fence changes direction (at corners).
