Stabilizing support bars are especially useful for temporary fencing systems that are erected on slopes, uneven ground, or located in exposed areas susceptible to high winds. Also known as a "backstay," the stabilizing support bar is positioned at an angle and is braced and bolted into the ground 988mm away from the panel using ground pins. You can find the ground pins on the Temporary Fencing Accessories page. The top of the stabilizing support bar meets the panel at a height of 1485mm, where it is secured using a coupler between the two adjoining panels.
Stabilizing support bars not only offer greater stability but also provide security. They make removing your temporary fencing more difficult, especially when used alongside anti-tamper and theft devices, which can also be found on the Temporary Fencing Accessories page.
