The Narrow Auto Deadlock Latch is a slender lock that can easily be incorporated into a box section of 40mm x 40mm and larger. It is neat and unobtrusive and has a latch with a deadlocking mechanism that operates when the gate is closed and prevents the latch being pushed back.

This product has a slim lock design and a long throw - the hook latch protrudes 22mm with one turn of the key. The latch is reversible and can be withdrawn by using the key.

This is ideal for gates that need to be automatically locked after the gate has closed and is particularly useful when used with a gate closer to control the close to make sure the gate doesn't remain open and allow unauthorised people to access.

This comes with a mortice lock, two stainless steel escutcheons (keyhole covers), three keys, double-sided eurocylinder, and strike plate.

Easy installation and maintenance:

• Slot the gate frame to take the body of the lock and cut 2 holes for the eurocylinder
• Fix lock in position, insert eurocylinder and secure with M5 countersunk screw so it is flush with the surface
• Fit 2x eurocylinder escutcheons
• Check lock operates smoothly
• Lubricate with light oil periodically.
