MD102 10m Probe Magnetic Field Vehicle Detector
The MD102 10m is a magnetic resistance probe that is used to measure the earth's magnetic field. Any change in this field due to the presence of a vehicle will be detected, resulting in a signal output.
This probe can be buried into the road surface and can be used to produce a pulse output or a presence output. The presence output will detect the vehicle indefinitely.
The MD102 10m has been designed for parking and access control applications, is a cost-effective solution for vehicle detection in order to facilitate the automatic opening of security gates, and requires a minimal amount of cutting into the road surface.
The MD102C is a control unit that facilitates the configuration and testing of the MD102. Configuration is managed via DIP switches, while LEDs provide visual indications of the probe's operation. A relay output activates when a vehicle is detected. It is recommended that this be purchased with the MD102 series vehicle detectors.
