The deadlocking mechanism provides enhanced security, requiring a key for operation from both sides. The 15mm deadbolt can be adjusted on-site for a perfect fit. Additionally, the lock is universally handed, allowing installation on both left-hand and right-hand hung gates for maximum versatility.

• x1 Gatemaster Lock Plate
• x1 Blank Plate
• x2 M8 x 65mm Square Cup Head Bolts
• x2 M8 x 75mm Square Cup Head Bolts
• x2 M8 Shear Nuts

This lock is designed for quick and hassle-free installation. Simply follow these steps:

Drill two 9mm holes in the gate frame for the fixing bolts.
Drill a clearance hole for the deadbolt.
Hold the lock against the back of the box section gate frame and screw the deadbolt through the bottom drilled hole.
Use the supplied hex key to lock the deadbolt in place.
Secure the lock with the stainless steel bolt support plate and countersunk screws.
Ensure the deadbolt moves freely to guarantee smooth operation.

The lock requires minimal maintenance to keep it in optimal working condition. A few simple steps will help prolong its lifespan:

1. Every 6 months, apply light oil to the lock mechanism.
2. Annually, dismantle the lock and spray the internal components with light oil to maintain smooth operation and prevent wear.
