We have a variety of accessories that can be used to assist with the transportation and installation of our concrete barriers, ranging from drill bits to lifting tools. Due to the heavy weight of concrete barriers, standard methods wouldn't be appropriate and so these products can be used in their place.

M20 Lifting Loop

Using a forklift to move some of our concrete barriers may damage them, this is why we recommend using our M20 Lifting Loop instead. With a holding weight of up to 2000kg, this tool has been manufactured from high grade steel wire, which has been firmly shaped around a ferrule, making them extremely strong and reliable. They have been designed to aid lifting and transporting pre-cast concrete structures safely and with ease.

SDS Masonry Drill Bit

When drilling into tough materials like brick, concrete and stone, a specific drill bit designed for masonry will be needed to do the job efficiently. This SDS drill bit (slotted drive shaft) is locked into the drill by notches and this gives it an advantage over a cylindrical connection; this firm connection ensures that the drill withstands the force when drilling into hard substances. This bit has a tungsten carbide tip for effective drilling and the tip stays sharper longer standard steel drill bits. Masonry drill bits have an easily recognisable arrowhead-shaped head. In appearance they are like twist drills and have a somewhat more compact corkscrew shape.
