Full Fencing & Gate System for Garden Centre
15 November, 2023

Client: Tingley Garden Centre

Fencing Contractor: TAtkins

Location: Wakefield

Project: Full Fencing & Gate System for Garden Centre

Overview:

Tingley Garden Centre were looking for a range of fencing solutions for their premises, including;

  • Barriers to prevent accidents in the car park
  • Security Fencing & Gates as visitors go into the Garden Centre
  • Railings around the edge of the Garden Centre where there is a drop

Challenges:

Appearance – Even though the Garden Centre were looking for a range of different products to meet their requirements, they wanted them to all fit in nicely with the Garden Centre, and add to the aesthetics.

Cost – As there were a number of solutions required, they needed to be as cost-effective as possible.

Durability – As they were spending a lot of time and money on this project, while having a number of visitors enter the premises on a daily basis, they needed all the solutions to be durable and withstand a range of weather conditions.

Security & Safety – All options needed to provide the safety and security for the visitors and employees.

Solutions:

  • Barriers to prevent accidents in the car park

For the car park area of the Garden Centre, they went with our armco safety barriers. These provide a permanent barrier system, and help reduce the amount of damage caused as a result of impact or collision.

They are made from steel that has been galvanised with a layer of zinc, to help protect from rusting over time. They have great strength and are able to withstand significant impacts.

  • Security Fencing & Gates as visitors go into the Garden Centre

Our Mesh Fencing & Gate solution seemed ideal for this area of the Garden Centre. As the solution would blend nicely into current surroundings, and is extremely cost effective without compromising on security.

Due to the strength and durability of the V Mesh Fencing and Twin Gate that the Garden Centre chose, these are long-lasting and are designed to be used on a daily basis as they would in this application. The Mesh Fencing and Gates would provide the security that the Garden Centre require, and with the addition of the powder coating, it is also extremely resilient.

  • Railings around the edge of the Garden Centre where there is a drop

Our Bow Top Railings are a great addition to this area of the Garden Centre, as they provide the safety and security required for visitors and staff so that there are no accidents from the drop down to different levels.

They are also aesthetically pleasing, and blended in nicely to other hand rails and features that the Garden Centre already had installed.

Manufactured with durability and efficiency in mind, our bow top railings are ideal for areas where there are high numbers of the public present.

Conclusion:

Tingley Garden Centre now has a full range of fencing and barrier solutions to ensure that visitors are safe, and that their premises are secure.
