Used extensively in the construction industry, Acrow Props are a way of supporting overhead loads to enable people to continue working safely beneath. When you need to make a new opening in a wall, install a lintel or to make repairs, Acrow Props can securely take the weight of a load-bearing wall.
This is a well-known and well-utilised piece of kit that is quick to install and is very versatile; it can also be used repeatedly, so it is a good investment. Available from First Fence in Size 0, Size 1, Size 2, Size 3 and Size 4.
Features & Benefits
The Acrow Prop is manufactured from steel. It is made up of two tubes that fit one inside the other and has a telescopic action, so you simply remove the pin, extend to your desired length, then replace the pin. The pin prevents the outer tube from collapsing into the inner one. The collar is then screwed until tightly closed.
At each end is a square plate; the bottom one fits flat on the ground, and the top one can be inserted and secured into a Propmate.
Acrow props are manufactured to BS4074:1982 and tested to BS5507-3:1982 for optimum safety.
