Features and Benefits
The Twin Mesh (868 mesh) system is a welded mesh design featuring 6mm vertical wires crossing 8mm horizontal wires. This structure is engineered to prevent climbing, as the wire spacing makes it difficult to grip with hands or feet. The dense wire pattern also blocks objects from being passed through, while still offering excellent visibility. Its resistance to cutting makes it an ideal deterrent for anyone attempting to break into your property, particularly in taller configurations.
Commonly found in schools, sports grounds, industrial sites, playgrounds, and medium-security areas, mesh wire systems are reliable for safeguarding premises. When paired with mesh fencing, these gates provide a secure access point and can be padlocked for additional protection.
Standing at 3.0m high, with a width of 1.0m, these gates provide a safe, secure access point which is suitable for pedestrians. Separating access points for traffic and pedestrians can help to prevent vehicle and pedestrian based accidents. To allow these gates to be installed in a wide variety of locations to suit your security needs, they are available in both dig in and bolt down variants.
For additional resistance to weathering, each gate is finished with a professionally applied polyester powder coating in a variety of RAL colours.
The gate kit includes a catch and hinge gate post, adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed inserts for both the frame and post. Ground anchor bolts or post mix are available for separate purchase depending on your installation needs.
Please Note: If attaching the gate to a mesh fencing system, M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips will be required.
