Anti-Climb Systems

Q: What are barbed wire and anti-climb systems ?

Barbed wire and anti-climb systems are designed to enhance security by deterring unauthorised access. They create a physical and visual barrier, making it difficult for intruders to climb fences or walls, and are used in residential, commercial, industrial, and high-security settings.

Q: What is the difference between barbed wire, razor wire, and rotating spikes?

Barbed Wire : Features sharp, spaced-out barbs designed to deter intruders and animals. It is versatile and cost-effective. Razor Wire : Offers sharper, more intimidating blades for higher security, commonly used in prisons and military areas. Rotating Spikes : Non-aggressive but effective; the rotating mechanism prevents intruders from gaining a firm grip, ideal for commercial and industrial sites.

Q: Where can barbed wire and anti-climb systems be used?

These systems can be used in various locations, including: Industrial and commercial properties (warehouses, factories, etc.) Public facilities (airports, water treatment plants, etc.) Residential areas (to secure boundaries and walls) Agricultural sites (to protect livestock, crops, and equipment) High-security zones (prisons, military bases, etc.)

Q: What are the benefits of using barbed wire and anti-climb systems?

Increased security: These systems create a physical barrier that makes it difficult for intruders to gain access to a property. Visual deterrent: Their intimidating appearance discourages potential intruders. Versatility: our anti-climb systems can be used in various environments, from homes and businesses to high-security zones. Durability: Made from high-quality materials that can withstand harsh weather conditions. Easy installation: Our systems can be easily integrated with existing fencing or walls.

Q: Which of your anti-climb products offers the highest level of security?

Our Razor wire offer thes highest level of security. It is ideal for high-security areas like prisons, military installations, and sensitive industrial sites. Its sharp blades provide maximum deterrence and are difficult to cut through.

Q: How do Rotating Spike Systems work?

Rotating spike systems function as an effective anti-climb deterrent by incorporating a unique rotating mechanism. The central bar, fitted with sharp or pointed spikes, rotates freely when pressure or force is applied. This movement prevents intruders from gaining a secure grip, making it difficult to climb or breach the perimeter. Unlike static barriers, rotating spikes rely on motion to disrupt attempts to scale the structure, offering a non-aggressive but highly effective security solution. Their design creates both a physical obstacle and a visual deterrent, discouraging unauthorised access. Rotating spikes are particularly useful for securing walls, fences, and gates in areas where safety and appearance are important, such as commercial properties, offices, or public spaces.

Anti-Climb Spikes & Barbed Wire Systems

Increase the security of your fencing system with the use of barbed wire or rotating spikes. These can be added to the tops of our palisade fencing. This creates an extra barrier for intruders trying to climb and access your site.

Designed to meet the needs of industrial, commercial, and residential applications, these systems offer a practical and cost-effective way to safeguard any site. With various options, including barbed wire, rotating spikes, and razor wire, you can select the most suitable deterrent for your specific requirements.

Barbed wire and anti-climb systems are designed to deliver maximum security through robust construction and advanced deterrent features. Made from high-tensile, corrosion-resistant materials, these systems are built to withstand harsh weather conditions and prolonged exposure. Their sharp barbs, blades, or spikes provide an effective physical barrier, while their intimidating appearance serves as a visual deterrent to potential intruders. Quick and simple to install, these solutions are versatile enough to integrate with existing fencing or walls.

Applications of Barbed Wire and Anti-Climb Systems

These security solutions are versatile and can be deployed in various environments:

Industrial and Commercial Properties: Safeguard warehouses, factories, and distribution centres from unauthorised access.
Public Facilities: Protect critical infrastructure, such as airports, water treatment plants, and utility facilities.
Residential Areas: Prevent intrusion and enhance privacy by securing boundaries and walls.
Agricultural Sites: Protect livestock, crops, and equipment from theft or trespassing.
High-Security Zones: Fortify prisons, military installations, and government buildings with razor wire or rotating spikes for uncompromising security.

Barbed Wire

Our high-tensile barbed wire is a versatile security solution for both homes and businesses. It acts as a natural deterrent to animals, thieves, and vandals, and can be easily added to any existing fencing system. Featuring sharp 4-pointed barbs spaced out equally along the length of the wire, these can be attached easily to existing fencing, increasing the difficulty for intruders to gain access to your site.

Constructed from high-quality galvanised steel, all of our barbed wire rolls are suitable for installation in outdoor environments, keeping their silver finish for years to come. We have different types of brackets. These include straight brackets, Y-shaped cranked angle brackets, and cranked angle brackets. They are made to attach to permanent fencing. They can hold barbed wire or razor wire.

Rotating Spike Systems

The rotating spikes are an ideal deterrent for high security areas such as banks, offices and other businesses, providing a non-aggressive, highly effective and visible anti-climb system.

The range of installation accessories, such as the adjustable corners, sockets and supports, allows the rotating spike systems to be installed in locations where other, more aggressive systems, such as broken glass or barbed wire.

Unlike many other perimeter security devices, this system is not designed to potentially harm or inflict injury with the sharp spikes or edges. The design presents a strong visual deterrent that will discourage more intruders.

Rotating spikes have a unique feature, which is that the central bar has been designed to rotate to prevent any would-be intruders from getting a firm grip.

Razor Wire

Manufactured from high tensile steel, this product has a wide central band for additional rigidity, has sharp blades at intervals along its length, and is galvanised to prevent rusting.

Razor Wire is designed to be used around properties that require high levels of security and to prevent intruders from entering the property. It can be seen often in Prisons, land borders or military camps. The barbs are sharper and more difficult to cut through than standard barbed wire.
