What is SR1 (A1) Rated Security Fencing?
The ProFence® series stands as a testament to First Fence's premier selection of security-rated offerings, all rigorously examined and certified under the stringent LPS 1175 A1 (SR1) standards. This certification signifies a one-minute delay against potential breaches employing Toolkit A, a set of tools encompassing glass cutters, pliers, spanners, and bolt cutters - tools often hidden and wielded by individuals seeking unauthorised access to private premises.
This vital sixty-second delay is indispensable, affording security teams the crucial time needed to promptly detect and respond to potential intrusions. It can be the decisive factor in deterring criminals from pilfering valuable assets or causing damage.

This single leaf gate is constructed with the utmost care, offering not only superior security but also a range of advantages:

Security Accessories: The kit includes a sliding gate leaf, catch and hinge post, three gate eyes, Ribbed Inserts for the posts and gate frame, and a heavy-duty padlock. The inclusion of multiple adjustable gate eyes ensures continued security even in the unlikely event of a single hinge failure.
Tamper Resistance: Each adjustable gate eye is secured with a shear nut, making post-installation removal impossible. The gate also features a sliding latch bolt and a drop bolt, both reinforced to deter tampering.
This security gate kit is manufactured from steel which has been hot dip galvanised to meet ISO 1461 standards. They are then Polyester Powder Coated (PPC), both of which afford the product excellent resistance to the damaging effects of the weather, rust and corrosion and wear and tear.
Ease of Installation
Our SR1 rated security system is designed to adapt to diverse ground conditions with both dig-in and bolt-down versions available. The bolt-down kit comes complete with essential ground anchor bolts, while the dig-in kit requires the addition of Post Mix, available for purchase and recommended at four bags per 2.4m post. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.
This gate seamlessly complements the 2.4m mesh fencing kits within the range, with other height and width options available to cater to your specific requirements.
