This certification verifies that our products offer vital one-minute resistance against intrusion attempts employing Toolkit A, which includes discreet tools such as glass cutters, pliers, spanners, non-metallic rope, and bolt cutters – tools often used by individuals targeting high-value properties. This essential sixty-second delay is invaluable, providing security teams with the time needed to swiftly detect and respond to breaches, potentially deterring criminals from attempting theft or causing harm.

First Fence's security-rated 358 mesh gate, designed with a double-leaf configuration, is fabricated from hot-dipped galvanised steel and further fortified with a robust polyester powder coating. This coating not only provides protection against rust, corrosion, vandalism, damage, and daily wear and tear, but also offers the flexibility of selecting from a range of RAL colours for customisation to align with your corporate branding, lending a sleek and professional appearance to your fencing system and gate.

The gate incorporates the distinctive 358 Mesh, commonly known as Prison Mesh due to its use in high-security settings. This sturdy wire mesh hasa narrow mesh pattern that obstructs object passage while rendering scaling or cutting attempts extremely challenging for anyone. Nevertheless, it allows for efficient perimeter monitoring, making it particularly suitable for scenarios where clear visibility is essential, especially when used with CCTV systems.

The gate kit includes six adjustable gate eyes, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of a single hinge failure, the gate remains secure, thus averting accidents, damage, or injuries. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, reducing the risk of post-installation tampering. Two Drop Bolts enhance the security of your security-rated double gate.

Simple Installation

The installation of this accredited security gate is relatively straightforward and adheres to that of a standard mesh gate. You can opt to dig it into the ground or secure it with ground anchor bolts.

First Fence's SR1-rated mesh gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, accommodating a broad range of ground conditions. It is imperative to evaluate the ground conditions at your intended installation site before making your purchase, as this will determine the appropriate kit variant. Soft soil or turfed areas necessitate the dig-in option, while concrete or solid ground requires bolt-down posts.

The bolt-down kit includes essential ground anchor bolts. If you choose the dig-in kit, seriously consider adding Post Mix to your order, with a recommended four bags per post for a sturdy installation. Post Mix is also available in larger bulk quantities if needed. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.

This gate boasts an ample width, making it the broadest in this height range, catering to both pedestrian access and vehicles. The sliding latch bolt securely keeps the leaves closed, while the drop bolts ensure their steadfast positioning. You retain the flexibility to open one or both leaves as per your specific site requirements.

A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.

ProFence® Fencing is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
