Features and Benefits

This security mesh gate kit comprises two gate leaves, hinge posts, six adjustable gate eyes, ribbed inserts for the posts and gate frame.. The gate is made from steel which has been hot dipped galvanised to ISO 1461 standards. Each gate is then coated with polyester powder, it's custom-built for enduring outdoor use, providing robust protection against rust, corrosion, and wear-and-tear damage.

The gate's mesh fill is constructed of 358 Prison Mesh, featuring a tightly woven pattern that ensures excellent visibility while effectively preventing the passage of any item. This attribute is especially advantageous when employing CCTV to monitor your fence line.

Safety is paramount, with the inclusion of additional gate eyes, guaranteeing that even if one hinge point were to fail, the gate would remain secure, preventing potential injury or damage. Each gate eye is fortified with a shear nut, rendering it tamper-proof once in place.

For heightened security, the gate can be securely latched closed using the sliding latch bolt. Additionally, two drop bolts are provided to hold the gate in the open position, equipped with M5x20mm one-way pan head bolts and M5 shear nuts, preventing unauthorised removal.

Easy Installation

Installation is straightforward and very much the same as standard mesh gates and fencing; you dig in or bolt down. Typically, if your ground is turf, soil, or another type of soft surface, you will opt for post digging. For harder ground, concrete anchoring is recommended to ensure a sturdy installation. For the bolt-down option, four ground anchor bolts for each post are included. For the dig-in post option, Post Mix is required and available as an additional purchase. It's recommended to use three bags of Post Mix per post for a 1.8m gate post to establish a solid foundation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.

A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.
