The LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) certification subjects security products to rigorous evaluation, assessing their resistance against hostile and unauthorised access attempts. It scrutinises the equipment's capacity to withstand forced entry, even in the face of tools like bolt cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers. Furthermore, it measures the determination of potential intruders, quantifying the time they are willing to invest in their breach attempt. The coveted SR1 (A1) rating certifies resistance to a complete sixty seconds of assault with Toolkit A.

Features and Benefits

This kit is made up of two gate leaves, hinge posts, six adjustable gate eyes and ribbed inserts for the posts and gate frame. Crafted from high-quality steel, which is hot dip galvanised to ISO 1461 standards. Each of the gates is then coated with polyester powder, it's ideal for enduring outdoor use, providing robust protection against rust, corrosion, and wear-and-tear damage.

The gate's mesh fill consists of 358 Prison Mesh, characterised by its tightly woven pattern that ensures excellent visibility while effectively preventing the passage of any object. This feature is especially advantageous when using CCTV to monitor your fence line.

Safety is paramount, with the inclusion of extra gate eyes, guaranteeing that even if one hinge point were to fail, the gate would remain secure, preventing potential injury or damage. Each gate eye is fortified with a shear nut, rendering it tamper-proof once in place.

For enhanced security, the gate can be firmly latched closed using the sliding latch bolt. Additionally, two drop bolts are provided to hold the gate in the open position, equipped with M5x20mm one-way pan head bolts and M5 shear nuts, preventing unauthorised removal.

Easy Installation

Installation is a straightforward process and is the same as for standard mesh fencing and gates; you either dig in or bolt down. Generally, if your ground is turf, soil, or other soft material, you will opt for post digging, whereas harder surfaces require concrete anchoring for a sturdy installation. For the bolt-down option, four ground anchor bolts for each post are included. For the dig-in post option, Post Mix is required and available as an additional purchase.

We recommend using three bags of Post Mix per post for a 1.8m gate post, ensuring a solid foundation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.

A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.

ProFence® Fencing is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees.
