Hammerite Special Metals Primer is a very versatile and durable coating that is water-based and designed to promote excellent adhesion of metal paint to stainless steel and non-ferrous metals, including galvanised, brass, chrome and copper. To check if the metal is ferrous, simply try to attach a magnet to it, if it sticks, you very likely have a ferrous product.

When it comes to constructing a retaining wall using elements such as RSJs (Rolled Steel Joists) and Railway Sleepers, this primer could play a crucial role in enhancing the longevity and structural integrity of your project.

Hammerite Special Metals Primer can be used both inside and outside and gives a smooth and even finish. It promotes topcoat adhesion via the film it leaves behind.
