Available in a green or brown treated finishes, our Garden Sleepers are designed to complement your garden. Our green Railway Sleeper is pressure treated to a superior quality of BS EN 351-1. The treated finish is designed to prevent the damage of rot and to increase the life expectancy of the Timber Sleepers.
The dimensions of a Railway Sleeper are, 2400mm in length, 100mm in height and 200mm in width. This is a standard size for a Railway Sleeper, however a great feature of Railway Sleepers is that they can be cut down to size or shape. If you want to adjust the length, thickness, or even create a curved border, all you need is a saw and your imagination.
Installation Tips
Fitting our Railway Sleepers is a straightforward process, but it depends on your project and design preferences. Step one is to ensure that the surface is clear and level. A handy spirit level would be very useful to have. Next, the Timber Sleepers can either be laid on the ground or partially buried for added stability.
