Features and Benefits

The production method of the EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate reflects environmental consciousness, which sets it apart from similar products available on the market. It uses a novel low-weld approach with custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components, ensuring robust assembly while minimising the need for energy-intensive welding. This allies with our customers' preferences for reduced environmental impact during manufacturing and is something First Fence is very proud to offer.

Crafted from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates exemplify exceptional durability, withstanding prolonged exposure to demanding outdoor conditions. This guarantees years of reliable functionality while preserving their aesthetic appeal.

EnviroRail® Gates provide a modular and relatively lightweight solution for rapid installation, accommodating diverse hardware requirements. Universally designed, they offer on-site flexibility without specific left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular design enables effortless adjustments in the event of gate movement, offering a level of flexibility that fixed hardware cannot provide.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The gate kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines for stability, even in the event of a hinge failure. Gate hooks are welded to the gate post giving fixed-axis hinges to eliminate vertical movement.

Each gate comes pre-drilled for straightforward attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face.

Designed for versatility the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in various heights and widths, also as a double leaf variant, ensuring we have the perfect gate for your needs. Our gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, making them suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. Prior to buying your gate, it is wise to carry out a ground assessment to determine the precise gate post style you will need.

When installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.

Finishing Touches

The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.  The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with our range of security lock systems. You also have the option to include an anti-climb Locking Plate to your choice. Consider enhancing security further with a heavy-duty padlock.
