Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing, mirroring a standard bay, embraces an eco-conscious construction method that sets it apart from traditional products. This inventive technique utilises custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components, creating robust connections without the need for energy-intensive welding processes. This distinctive approach minimises the railing's environmental footprint, resonating strongly with customers who prefer sustainable practices throughout the production cycles.

Expertly made in the in-house fabrication department of First Fence, our gates are made from high-quality pre-galvanised steel that adheres to BS 10346 standards. Coated with polyester powder, these gates are designed for durability, ensuring they can withstand various outdoor challenges. This is so important for a product in permanent outdoor use.

EnviroRail® Gates offer a fully modular, ultra lightweight system with various hardware for quick and easy installation. Universally handed, these gates provide on-site flexibility, allowing the selection of the preferred leaf orientation during installation, meaning either leaf can be the primary one. The modular design allows for adjustability, providing flexibility in the event of gate movement, a feature that fixed hardware lacks.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

Every gate is equipped with pre-drilled frame holes, facilitating the effortless installation of three adjustable gate eyes and, if selected, a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are provided for any unused holes, enhancing the overall appearance.

The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two hinge posts and six adjustable gate eyes, complying with BS 12604 safety guidelines. With three hinges per leaf, the gate remains secure in the unlikely event one should fail, preventing potential injury or damage. The gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post for added security, providing fixed-axis hinges removing vertical movement.

Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit offers both dig-in and bolt-down versions suitable for installation in different locations. The dig-in option suits softer ground, requiring Post Mix for stability, while the bolt-down option suits harder ground and is secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. It is recommended that you assess your ground substance before making your purchase to ensure you get the correct post format.

When installed correctly, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, with a 50mm ground clearance.

To enhance your gate, consider adding a Slider Kit for secure closure. The gate's modularity makes it compatible with our range of security lock systems, and additional security features like an anti-climb Locking Plate and heavy-duty padlock are available. For the double leaf gate it is recommended that you use the locking drop bolt, this can be added easily to your gate order.
