Its gracefully curved top gives a softer, more welcoming feel, unlike an austere palisade-type product, combines practicality and elegance, delivering a robust enclosure rooted in 19th-century aesthetics, ideal for diverse settings like parks, schools, commercial, and residential areas. Traditionally made from wrought iron and time-consuming to make, it is now more often available in steel or aluminium.

As part of the EnviroRail® series, First Fence proudly offers gate kits in single and double leaf options, available in various polyester powder-coated colours. These gates cater to different ground types, with adaptable formats for bolt-down or dig-in installations, ensuring suitability for various environments.

Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Bow Top Double Leaf Gate Kit, sized at 1.5m tall and 4.0m wide, allows flexible access control, accommodating both pedestrian and vehicular needs. Constructed from pre-galvanised steel which conforms to BS 10346, and powder-coated for maximum protection, this gate promises a long lifespan and durability. A polyester powder coating in a choice of RAL colours gives the gate a lovely glossy finish and protects it from damage and the effects of the weather and environment.

This gate kit's eco-conscious design reduces reliance on welding through custom-made, laser-cut components. It offers modularity and lightweight construction for easy installation, featuring pre-drilled holes for adjustable hinges and a drop bolt, while also adhering to BS 12604 safety standards for stability. Even if one hinge fails, the gate remains upright and secure, helping to prevent injury or damage.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates offer a fully modular and relatively lightweight solution for securing a gate or driveway, ensuring easy installation for various hardware needs. With universal handing, they offer on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications. Each gate in the kit comes with pre-drilled holes for six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes. A separate locking drop bolt option adds extra security.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates come with two gate leaves, posts, and adjustable gate eyes, meeting safety standards for stability. They offer versatility in heights and widths, available in dig-in or bolt-down variants suitable for different terrains.
