Introducing our newest product innovation, the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate, designed to perfectly complement the popular EnviroRail® Flat Top Railings at First Fence.
This flexible range includes gate and railing panel kits, available in both single and double leaf designs. They come in a variety of polyester powder-coated colours that will match your existing systems or corporate branding. Their adaptability for both bolt-down and dig-in installations ensures flexibility across various ground surfaces. Features and Benefits
The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate has an environmentally aware production method, which sets it apart from similar products available on the market. It uses a novel low-weld approach with custom laser-cut pre-galvanised components, ensuring robust assembly while minimising the need for energy-intensive welding. This allies with our customers' preferences for reduced environmental impact during manufacturing and is something First Fence is very proud to offer.
Made from pre-galvanised steel that complies with BS 10346 standards and then coated with polyester powder, our gates showcase outstanding durability, enduring extended exposure to challenging outdoor conditions. This ensures years of dependable functionality while maintaining their aesthetic allure.
EnviroRail® Gates provide a modular and relatively lightweight solution for rapid installation, accommodating diverse hardware requirements. Universally designed, they offer on-site flexibility without specific left or right-hand specifications, simplifying decision-making during installation. The modular functionality allows for easy adjustments in case of gate shifts, providing flexibility that fixed hardware cannot.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The gate kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines for stability, even in the event of a hinge failure. Gate hooks are welded to the gate post, and fixed-axis hinges eliminate vertical movement.
Each gate comes pre-drilled for straightforward attachment of three adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face.
Designed for versatility the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in various heights and widths, also as a double leaf variant, ensuring we have the perfect gate for you. Our gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, making them suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for firmer ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. Prior to buying your gate, it is wise to carry out a ground assessment to determine the precise gate post style you will need.
When installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
Finishing Touches
To finish your gate, perhaps select an add-on purchase of a Slider Kit to ensure your gate stays closed. The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with all our security locks, which are also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can also be added to this selection. Consider enhancing security further with a heavy-duty padlock.
