Within the EnviroRail® range from First Fence you will discover both gate and railing kits. The 0.9m high x 2.0m wide EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate will perfectly complement the corresponding railing style in the range and add elegance and security to wherever it is placed. Bow Top Railings have a graceful, decorative appeal that not only looks attractive but also serves a practical barrier function. This is a very versatile type of fencing and gate system and can be used across a wide range of situations including schools, parks and residential areas.
The single leaf Bow Top gate kit may look like a typical product at first glance, however its construction uses a low-weld technique making it an environmentally sound system. This manufacture method uses a series of custom-made, laser-cut components that form very strong bonds when they are pressed together, which removes the need for high-energy and resource-intense welding.
All of the gates in this range are made from pre-galvanised steel which conforms to BS 10346 standards, and are then polyester powder coated. Both of these treatments ensure that the product has a long, useful lifespan and can withstand the challenges of being installed permanently outdoors. A range of polyester powder coating RAL colours is available to choose from.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of pre-galvanised steel hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® gates present a lightweight and fully modular system that is equipped for swift installation of a variety of gate hardware kits. These gates are universally handed, giving ultimate on-site flexibility in terms of selecting the preferable leaf orientation. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.
The gate comes with pre-drilled holes on the frame which are designed for the simple installation of the three hinges and a locking drop bolt (if required). This kit also comes with plastic hole plugs that are for use on the non-attack face of the gate, if a drop bolt isn't added.
This EnviroRail® Single Leaf Gate Kit comprises a gate leaf, hinge and catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, which means the gate conforms to BS 12604 safety guidelines. The three hinges ensure that in the event of one failing, the gate will not fall and cause injury or damages. The gate hooks are fully welded onto the gate post, these are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.
Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit offers both dig-in and bolt-down versions suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in option suits softer ground like soil or grass, requiring Post Mix for post stability. Meanwhile, the bolt-down option suits harder ground and is secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts.
Each EnviroRail gate comes with a UniSlide slider kit which can be easily installed on to the gate. Alternatively, this gate kit is compatible with our security locks and when installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
First Fence also offers a selection of EnviroRail® Railings and Estate Railings and Gates for purchase.
