Forest of Dean Stone Firm required a robust and secure fencing system that would prevent any unauthorised access to the machine operating area as this area is strictly prohibited to certain personnel.

Another requirement from Forest of Dean Stone was that they still wanted to have good visibility of the machinery through the fencing, they needed to make sure that they could view the equipment without compromising the security of the fencing.

After considering our palisade and mesh fencing ranges that we have available, our V mesh fencing seemed to be the best option for them. As it is a permanent fencing solution, that provides a high level of strength and longevity. It also allows for a good level of visibility, so they will be able to see the machinery from the outside of the fence.

In addition, our v mesh fencing is difficult to climb with the ‘v’ shape feature within the design, increasing the stability of the panel. It is the ideal solution for protecting the machinery while being less intimidating and aesthetically pleasing.

They also decided to go for our green powder coated mesh fencing, to increase the resilience to any damage and weathering, and add that extra aesthetic to the solution. We do have a range of RAL powder coating colours, so they could have gone for any colour that they wanted and we can offer this powder coating service.
