Protect Workers at Height with our Edge Protector Systems

Statistics released by the HSE show almost half of all construction accidents (47%) were from falls from height. There were 40 fatal injuries in 2019/2020, slightly up on the 5-year average of 37 per year (HSE 2020).

In order to help with these statistics, First Fence now offers a readily available Edge Protector System* that can be installed on the perimeter of a construction site to protect the workers at height and protect those below from falling debris or tools.

The Edge Protector System barriers are comprised of a framed mesh unit with toe board at the bottom, giving the worker a level of confinement and feeling of safety. They are manufactured from galvanised steel and Polyester Powder coated, meaning that they will be strong and be long lasting.

The Edge Protector System is simple to install and require no specialist skills to fit, they also conform to BS EN 13374, meaning that they provide adequate edge protection for workers on roofs.
