2.4m High Double Leaf Standard Bow Top Railing Gate Kit
Stylish, strong and cost effective, these high quality 2.4m high double leaf standard bow top railing kits are ideal for use in a wide range of outdoor environments. This range of steel 2.4m high double leaf bow top railing gates are available in widths ranging from 2.0m up to 10.0m, making them ideal as garden gates, driveway gates or for use in public outdoor spaces such as parks and play areas, providing access for anything from pedestrians to even multiple lanes of vehicles.
As well as looking great, these curved bow top railing gates have been made from excellent quality galvanised steel by our team of expert fabricators to ensure that these gates will stay strong and reliable for years. The galvanised zinc coating of the steel helps to protect the metal against the damaging effects of weathering and rust, whilst also giving the gates a fantastic looking silver finish.
To prevent the gate leafs on these double leaf bow top railing gates from blowing open when not in use, which can cause damage to the gate hinges, nearby property or injury to gate users or passers-by, each kit is supplied with a sliding latch gate leaf and catch gate leaf. When used together, these securely hold the gate in the closed position and can be further secured with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately) to prevent unauthorised access.
Each of the gate leafs of these 2.4m high standard bow top railing gates can be opened and closed independently of one another, which can be used to limit access. To securely hold the leafs open, again preventing damage or injuries should the leafs be blown closed, each gate kit is supplied with two drop bolts. These drop bolts can safely and securely hold the gate open for extended periods of time, or can also be used to help further secure the bow top gate when not in use.
The 2.4m high steel bow top double leaf gates are available with either dig in or bolt down posts, allowing them to be installed in a wide range of outdoor locations.
Dig in posts – the dig in posts are an ideal choice for outdoor spaces where the ground type is soft enough for holes to be dug, such as in soil. This type of post is longer than its bolt down counterpart, which allows it to be placed into the hole and held securely in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts are suitable for installing these metal bow top railing gates in locations where the ground may be too hard for holes to be dug easily. These posts have a base plate which allows ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to securely hold the posts in place.
Each gate kit includes:

- 1 x Catch gate leaf
- 2 x Hinge gate post
- 4 x Adjustable gate eye
- 2 x Drop bolt

If, however, you are looking for a more bright and colourful metal railing gate solution, the 2.4m high bow top double leaf railing gates can be ordered with a fantastic looking Polyester Powder Coated (PPC) finish. These professionally applied coatings are available in a wide assortment of RAL colours to suit any location and requirement.
