Features and Benefits
The Twin Mesh, or 868 mesh system, features a distinct design with 6mm vertical wires intersecting 8mm horizontal wires. This construction is specifically designed to prevent climbing, as the spacing makes it difficult to grip with hands or feet. The tight wire configuration also prevents objects from being passed through while maintaining excellent visibility. The mesh is tough to cut, providing a strong deterrent against break-ins, especially when installed in taller heights.
This type of mesh wire system is commonly used in areas like schools, sports grounds, industrial sites, playgrounds, and other medium-security locations. When paired with twin mesh fencing, these gates provide a secure access point and can be padlocked for enhanced security.
The gates are 1.2m high and available in widths ranging from 1.0m to 5.0m, suitable for installation on both hard and soft surfaces with either bolt-down or dig-in posts.
The option of a polyester powder coating in various RAL colours, not only adds an extra layer of protection but can also match corporate branding for a polished appearance.
Each gate kit includes a catch and hinge gate post, adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed inserts for both the frame and post. Ground anchor bolts or post mix can be purchased separately depending on your installation needs.
Please Note: If you're attaching the gate to a mesh fencing system, additional M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips will be needed.
Kit Contents
The kit contains everything required to install your single leaf gate, except for post mix and ground anchor bolts. To maintain a consistent look, we also offer a range of mesh fencing accessories sold separately, so you can update your fencing system when needed.
