Features and Benefits
The Twin Mesh (also known as 868 mesh) is a welded mesh system characterised by its 6mm vertical wires crossing 8mm horizontal wires. This design is specifically created to prevent climbing, as the wire spacing makes it difficult to grip with hands or feet. The mesh’s tight structure also prevents objects from being passed through, while still offering clear visibility. Its durability and resistance to cutting make it a strong deterrent for anyone attempting to breach your property, especially in taller gate installations.
Mesh wire systems are a versatile security solution which can be commonly found in schools, sports grounds, industrial buildings, playgrounds, and other medium-security locations. When integrated with mesh fencing, these gates provide an excellent access point and can be secured with a padlock for enhanced security.
Standing 1.5m high, with a width of 1.0m, these gates are ideal for pedestrian use, providing a safe and secure access point. The 1.5m x 1.0m 868 twin mesh gates can be installed on both hard and soft surfaces using bolt-down or dig-in posts, depending on the installation needs.
For added protection and aesthetic appeal, a polyester powder coating is available in a variety of RAL colours. This not only enhances durability but also allows the gate to blend with corporate branding or existing designs.
Each gate kit includes a catch and hinge gate post, adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed inserts for both the frame and post. Post mix or ground anchor bolts can be purchased separately to suit your installation requirements.
Please Note: If you're attaching the gate to a mesh fencing system, additional M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips are necessary.
