Built with strength and stability in mind, the Apollo gate uses 868 twin wire mesh, which consists of 6mm vertical wires crossing over two 8mm horizontal wires. This configuration provides outstanding rigidity and resistance to cutting or tampering, making it a popular choice for low to medium security environments. The anti-climb design of the mesh reduces the risk of unauthorised access, while still allowing visibility through the structure for improved site monitoring and safety.

Standing at 2.4 metres high, this gate adds an extra level of security compared to lower models, acting as an effective deterrent against trespassing or vandalism. The Apollo 2.4m High x 1.0m Wide Gate Kit is fully compatible with Twin Mesh fencing and also works seamlessly with other mesh fencing systems such as V Mesh and Safe Top Mesh. This flexibility makes it ideal for use in new installations or as part of a retrofit upgrade where appearance and consistency are key.

Made from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10346 and finished with a high-quality polyester powder coating to BS 13438, this gate is built to withstand harsh weather conditions and long-term exposure. The powder coating is available in a range of RAL colours, so the gate can either stand out as a safety feature or blend in with surrounding fencing and infrastructure. Non-standard colours are available on request for bespoke projects.

The gate is designed for universal hanging, meaning it can be fitted to open either left or right depending on the layout of your site. It can also be supplied with either dig-in posts for softer ground or bolt-down posts for hard standing areas like concrete.

Security is further enhanced by a modular sliding latch, which can be padlocked, and the gate can be upgraded with a digital security lock or a quick-exit digital lock for added access control. These locking options offer flexibility for a variety of usage scenarios, from day-to-day access to emergency exits.

Included in the kit are the gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, adjustable gate eyes, drop bolt, sliding latch, and plastic ribbed inserts for both frame and posts. Post mix and ground anchor bolts are not included but are available separately.
