Features and Benefits

868 Twin Mesh is an incredibly strong and secure form of mesh fencing, which is ideal for a wide range of site security purposes. Its construction consists of 8mm horizontal wires that are crossed by 6mm wires to form a closely-formed mesh that has very good visibility through it, which makes it an ideal solution for a location where low to medium security is needed. The close spaced mesh makes it impossible for large objects to be passed through and it is very difficult to climb as finger and foot grip is inhibited. It has a slightly intimidating appearance and is difficult to cut through with standard tools making it a great deterrent to would-be intruders.

This mesh can be seen around schools and children's play areas, some industrial sites, and anywhere where activity needs to be monitored. It is a dependable and low maintenance security solution.

1.2m x 2.0m gates create a superb entry point in a twin mesh fencing structure. The two gate leaves make it wide enough for pedestrians and some smaller vehicles to pass through, and one or both leaves can be opened depending on your needs. When it is closed, the drop bolts can be lowered and the sliding latch bolt shifted across and for extra security a heavy duty padlock can be used.

Powder coating adds a covering that can help prevent damage and consequently, rusting. Powder coating makes the gate more visible and can be matched to corporate branding colours to give a very professional and sleek appearance to your perimeter.

The gates are suitable for both hard and soft ground, we would recommend that you use bolt down posts for harder ground and dig-in for softer ground.

This comes complete with the components needed to install your new secure entry point, each of the kits will include the following items:

• 1 x Catch Gate Leaf - Height: 1150mm Width: 985mm
• 2 x Gate Hinge Post 80mm x 80mm Box Section Dig in Post Length : 1800mm Bolt down Post Length: 1200mm
• 2 x drop bolt
• 2 x adjustable gate eyes
• 6 x ribbed post cap inserts (4 x 60mm x 60mm, 2 x 80mm x 80mm)

Please Note: When attaching your gate to our mesh fencing, additional M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips will be required.
