Car Park swing barriers are commonly used in car parks or areas that need their access managed, for example private business sites or properties. A bolt on slider comes with the gate which you can easily attach to either side of the gate depending on your preference. The bolt on slider can be used to either slide the gate open or slide the gate closed.
The gate comes in a height of 1.0m and an access width of 9.0m. Two receiving posts with gravity latches are used to securely keep the gate open so you can safely walk or drive through.
Our heavy-duty padlock is the perfect addition to our swing car park barrier. It can be used to securely keep the gate closed or open. The lock can attached to the gate bolt on slider to keep both gate leaves closed and prevent people from opening the gate. Also, if you need the gate staying open, it can be used on the posts with the gravity latch and used to stop that latch from opening so no one can close the gate without unlocking the padlock.
It all depends on what type of ground surface you have and personal preference. Dig in posts are mainly used on soft ground surfaces which can easily be dug into. The dig in posts are longer than the bolt down posts as this additional length is placed into the ground and then secured with Post Mix. Alternatively, the bolt down posts are used for hard surfaces where they are bolted to the ground and secured in place with ground anchors.
