The 2.4m x 4.0m Wide ProFence® gate comes in kit form and seamlessly aligns with the ProFence® fencing range of the same height. The kit includes a sliding gate leaf equipped with a secure latch bolt for closure, a hinge and catch post, three adjustable gate eyes with shear nuts, ribbed inserts for the posts and gate frame, and a padlock to bolster security. Moreover, it provides 50mm ground clearance..
TheseSR1-rated mesh gate is fabricated from high-quality steel, hot dip galvanised to ISO 1461 standards. This ensuring long-lasting protection against the elements and any potential damage – an indispensable attribute for a gate permanently established outdoors. Additionally, a polyester powder coating not only gives a sleek finish but also enhances resistance against damage. The fencing and gates are available in a selection of RAL colours including green and black.
The ProFence® 868 Mesh gate showcases the distinctive 868 Twin Mesh, characterised by 6mm vertical wires intersecting with 8mm horizontal wires. This mesh configuration offers not only robustness and resistance against cutting but also exceptional visibility while effectively preventing the passage of items.
Safety remains a top priority with this certified mesh gate, featuring three adjustable gate eyes. Even in the event of one hinge point failing, the gate itself remains secure, safeguarding both people and property from harm. Each gate eye is securely fastened with a shear nut, ensuring tamper-proof security.
For enhanced security, the gate can be firmly closed using the sliding latch bolt. The kit also incorporates a drop bolt designed to securely hold the gate in the open position, featuring an M5x20mm one-way pan head bolt and M5 shear nut to deter unauthorised removal.

Ease of Installation
The ProFence® gate offers installation flexibility, available in either a dig-in or bolt-down format. It is essential to evaluate your ground conditions before making the installation choice. The bolt-down option includes four ground anchor bolts for each post, while the dig-in post option requires Post Mix, available for separate purchase. For a 2.4m high gate, it is recommended to utilise four bags of Post Mix per post to establish a solid foundation. It is highly recommended that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
