These high-visibility plastic caps have been designed for use with the open box beam barrier systems.
Not only do these caps help to increase the visibility of your open box beam system, but they also help to protect pedestrians by covering the square metal ends with softer and smoother-edged plastic. This can prevent accidents where pedestrians may scrape or catch themselves on the galvanised metal when walking past.
Constructed from Polyethylene, these end caps will retain their bright yellow colour in outdoor environments. Should they reach the end of their functional lives, the box beam end caps can be recycled.
Installation of these caps is incredibly quick and easy; simply slide these onto the end of the open box beams after they have been installed into a walkway or other protective system. They provide a tight fit on the metal beams, making them difficult for vandals or thieves to remove.
